Sunflower Crackers were produced by the Kelleher Baking Company in San Francisco from 1878 until the Great Earthquake in 1906 when the company burned down. They were square-shaped and shipped in tin cans. Their slogan was "Even the crumbs are crisp".
Frances Humber and Dirk Valentine loved them, and used to eat them all the time together.
