Camille Hurley (nee Voulet) was Jake Hurley's wife.
Biography[]
When Camille married Jake Hurley, she promised to make his train her home. She had many talents including needlepoint samplers, dancing, and music, and even had a piano installed in her train compartment. When she and Jake discovered that they could not conceive children, Camille directed her motherly passion towards her doll collection.
Sadly, Camille died only a year after she and Jake were married. She reportedly fainted in the heat of the non-air conditioned train and hit her head. Although she seemed fine, she died just a few hours later.
After her death, Jake started seeing ghostly lights floating alongside the train as if dancing with it. He believed it was Camille's spirit, and the sight brought him great comfort.
