The Whisperer of Silent Secrets was the name given to the scribe that wrote that King Pacal had only become king because of his mother. As a result, she was locked in a tomb in the mid 7th century, along with her writings, and was never seen again until 2002, when Nancy reopened the tomb in Secret of the Scarlet Hand.

The Whisperer's name is Cihuapili Apoxcalli. 'Cihuapili' means "princess" or "lady" in Nahuatl.
