Strange Phenomenon Inspectors: Extraterrestrial Division or S.P.I.E.D. is an organization set up by Jin Seung. They hold lectures about expanding consciousness and the future of the world and include a seminar called "Are You Alien or Alie-Out?" taught by Sonny Joon, Jin's grandson. Jamila El-Dine has little spaceships from one of their events promoting Sonny's book, Visitors From the Skies.
Nancy finds out that the classes are just little disinformation sessions, and the real research begins behind the scenes. Jamila eventually starts working for them and decides to start a subset of the program about artifacts that are actually on Earth. When Nancy meets Sonny in 2014, he tells her that she had already been a member for a few years.
