Grigor's parents died when he was young, leaving him at the mercy of the foster system until he aged out of it. The experience taught him how to be extremely charismatic and honed his acting skills, hoping that if he acted like his current foster family's idea of the perfect child, they would keep him.
In 2014, Nancy meets Grigor when she is helping out at the museum. He is also the stage manager and technician of the play.

Grigor discovered him stealing an old coat, and instead of sending him to juvie, let him be in the play he was putting on. Since then, Grigor says he has been going through names, and hopes to open a theater in Grigor's honor.
Nancy also discovers that Grigor had been threatened into being the transporter for an art heist by Thanos Ganas. Unfortunately, when Thanos is able to manipulate his way out of prosecution, Grigor takes the fall and ends up pleading guilty.
