In 1998, Jake is murdered by being pushed down a flight of stairs. Nancy eventually finds out that he was blackmailing at least four students. He blackmailed Connie Watson for winning the men's judo competition in a mask and made her go on a date with him. He blackmailed Hal Tanaka for plagiarizing an essay and made him do his homework. He blackmailed Hulk Sanchez for stealing drugs and made him deliver messages. He also tried to blackmail Daryl Gray for being a drug runner for Mitch Dillon. Soon after Mitch found out however, he killed Jake to shut him up .
Secrets Can Kill: Remastered[]
In 2010, Jake is murdered and pushed down a flight of stairs. He had previously worked at Maxine's Diner. Because he was given the responsibility of changing the boards in the school hallways, he was able to set up a series of puzzles eventually leading to video evidence of his activities, as he understood the possibility that he would be murdered. Nancy finds this video and realizes that he was blackmailing at least four students. He blackmailed Connie Watson for winning the men's judo competition in a mask and made her go on a date with him. He blackmailed Hal Tanaka for plagiarizing an essay and made him do his homework. He blackmailed Hulk Sanchez for stealing drugs and made him deliver messages. He also tried to blackmail Daryl Gray for selling his father's company's secrets to Mitch Dillon, the janitor. Mitch killed Jake though, but not before Jake seized the journal of the man Mitch was selling the secrets to, Detective Beech. This journal helped bring him to justice. Jake had planned to buy Dread Isle with the money he made and "retire at 17".
