Nefertiti (which means "The beautiful one has come") was a queen of ancient Egypt from 1352 - 1336 BC. She is estimated to have lived around 1370 - 1330 BC. She ruled with her husband Pharaoh Akhenaten. As queen, Nefertiti helped usher in Egypt's monotheistic religion, her and her husband created the cult Aten (The sun god).
A film based on her called Pharaoh was made in 1936 and remade in 2008.
